Clarion Futures, supported by Yellow Brick Road, will be holding 2 workshops to help those who are about to change to Universal Credit manage their finances whilst the changes come in and once its been fully completed. Remember that most benefits are currently paid every 2 weeks and the introduction of UC will mean that your benefits will change to a 4 weekly payment.

Just had a message from Heather down at the Food Bank in Sussex Road. She’s asked me to say that the food bank are currently in real need of:- Tinned tomatoes, and Tinned soups. If any of you can help by dropping a couple of tins into the collection points in Sainsburys, the Co-op or Waitrose (or any other collection points I’m unaware of) it would be greatly appreciated. This summer we will be installing Wi-Fi in all of our 36 Libraries. This means that when you visit the library you can bring your own laptop, tablet or smartphone and connect to our Wi-Fi for free. Look out for the logo in your library or check your local library webpage.
